Navaio Privacy Statement

There are several places on the Navaio website (https://www.navaio.com) where personal data is requested and processed:

• The contact form on the contact page.
• The subscribe button for the Navaio newsletter.
• When requesting a white paper.
• When you ask a question through our Security help desk.
• When you want to play the Navaio Security Awareness Game.
• When you ask a question about one of our job opportunities.

To ensure that you are fully aware of our website policies regarding the collection, processing, use, storage and protection of your personal data, we have created this privacy statement. You can access it at any time on our website.

Responsible party

Navaio is the so-called data controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). This means that Navaio decides which personal data are processed, for what purpose and in what way.

Navaio is responsible for ensuring that your personal data are processed in accordance with the AVG and in a proper and careful manner.

Personal data and purpose of processing

Navaio processes personal data within the meaning of Article 4(1) of the AVG. Personal data is any data that can provide information about an identified or identifiable natural person. This means that information is either directly about someone or can be traced back to that person.

• Navaio uses your name, company name and e-mail address to contact you when you send a message via the contact form.
• Navaio uses your name and email address to contact you if you send a message via the application form.
• Navaio uses your name and email address to email you our newsletter if you have subscribed to it.

• Navaio uses your name and email address to send you one of our white papers if you have requested one.

• Navaio uses your name and email address to contact you if you send a message through the Security help desk.

Basis of the processing

Provision to third parties

Your personal data will not be provided to third parties, with the exception of third parties as described under Cookies.

Security of personal data

Article 32 of the AVG requires the AP to take appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss of personal data or unlawful processing. We take the protection of personal data seriously. We have taken appropriate measures to counter abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. For example, Navaio is ISO 27001 certified.

Storage period personal data

Navaio will not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purpose of processing (Article 5, first paragraph, sub e, AVG). Without your consent for further retention, Navaio will delete your personal data no later than one month after the contact or expiration of the application process.

Your privacy rights

You have the right to access your personal data (Article 15 of the AVG) and the right to request correction or deletion of your personal data (Articles 16 and 17 of the AVG).

If you want to know what personal data Navaio processes about you, you can make a written request for inspection. Navaio will process your request within a reasonable period.

Does it appear that your data is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant? Then you can make an additional request to have your data changed or supplemented (Article 16 AVG).

You can request the deletion of your data (Article 17 AVG). Navaio will then delete your personal data immediately, at the latest within one month.

Cookies

This website uses cookies. We use cookies to make the website function, to help analyze the website to improve our services or for marketing purposes.

Analytical cookies

Analytical cookies collect (often anonymously) data and statistics to understand how visitors use the website, so that we can use this information to improve our website functionalities. We have entered into a processing agreement with Google and Matomo. This contains strict agreements about what they are and are not allowed to track. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained Analytical information for other Google services. IP addresses are also anonymized.

We use third-party cookies, such as Google, Google Tag Manager, Hotjar, Matomo Analytics and LinkedIn. Through Hotjar and Google Tag Manager, data on visitor behavior is collected on this website.
