Your role

As Senior Privacy Officer, you lead organizations in developing and implementing their privacy policies. You go beyond compliance: you ensure that privacy governance and risk management become an integral part of strategy, policy and operation. With your knowledge and experience, you will guide complex issues, advise stakeholders at board level and manage colleagues or project teams.

What are you going to do?

• Developing and implementing organization-wide privacy and data protection policies
• Leading DPIA processes, risk assessments and complex privacy investigations
• Advising at C-level on privacy governance, strategic choices and legal implications
• Expanding and securing processes related to data breaches, registers and processing agreements
• Leading audits and supervising certification processes (e.g. ISO 27701)
• Designing and optimizing privacy & security governance frameworks
• Initiating and leading awareness programs and cultural change within organizations
• Coaching and supervising medior Privacy Officers and consultants within Navaio
• Act as a liaison between legal, IT and security teams for integrated solutions

What do you bring?

• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Privacy Officer, FG/DPO or consultant in complex organizations
• Excellent knowledge of AVG, privacy governance, compliance and related frameworks (including ISO 27701, NIS2, BIO)
• WO work and thinking level with relevant certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, C-DPO, CAICO or similar
• Experience in advising management and management at a strategic level
• Strong communication and persuasive advice skills, including towards C-level stakeholders
• Experience with leading projects and coaching colleagues
• Affinity with the combination of privacy, information security and risk management
