Your role

If Medior Privacy Officer advise your organizations about privacy governance, compliance and risk management.You help them develop a robust privacy policy, assists them with audits and ensures that privacy and securityis an integral part of the business strategy. You are the link between IT, business and governance and knows how to create support for the right privacy and security measures.

What are you going to do?

• Supporting clients to comply with the legal obligations under the GDPR
• Advising on careful handling of (special) personal data and sensitive information
• Drafting policy documents and translate them into clear guidelines (including Privacy Policy, Privacy Statement)
• Executing privacy assessments, risk assessments and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs)
• Executing risk analyses for determining privacy risks and security measures
• Setting up/controlling the processing register and data breach register
• Drafting/controlling processing agreements
• Handling AVG Requests (inspection, request for deletion, adjustment of personal data, etc.)
• Handling data breaches (research, advice, reporting, communication)
• Enlarging the awareness about privacy and information security

What do you bring?

• Extensive experience with privacy advice
• Knowledge of privacy governance, compliance and frameworks
• Strong communication skills and proven to be suitable as sparring partner at administrative level
• WO level and certifications such as CIPP/E, MOVIE are a must
• Experience in consultancy or experience as a Privacy Officer within a complex organization is a big plus
